We are punk rock, our lives are scars, the state is the main enemy: this is Йорш (or Yorsh) in three telling tracks. Ёрш is beer with vodka, and the old name of the band. Punk from Podolsk (= Подольск), since 2006.
From #Нетпутиназад (#NoWayBack, 2019). The same goes for Андерграунд (Underground), that also comes in piano version (2020). No complicated lyrics, but punk rock poetry all the more. In its purest form:
Punk rock, that’s me (Панк-рок – это я)
Punk rock, that’s you (Панк-рок – это ты)
Punk rock, that’s us (Панк-рок – это мы).

More poetry but much less punk rock in Шрамы. We lose hope (Мы теряем надежду) and grow up early (И взрослеем так рано). Our life (Наша жизнь) is scars (это шрамы).

We could have gone for newer music here. But we would have ended up with В сердце игрушки or Армия Жизни, and that would not have made matters any better. Or any punker.
So here’s a second punk poem, from Добро и зло (Good and Evil, 2010 – listen on Spotify, YouTube). Выше, выше, черный флаг, Higher, higher, black flag – государство главный враг, the state is the main enemy. In Russian, it rhymes.
