Yet another punk band with serious mileage. Formed back in 1999 – last century, no less – you might expect ПОРТ(812) to be running on fumes by now. But their latest album says otherwise: they still sound sharp, charged, and very much alive. Punk is far from dead.
812: Saint Petersburg
812 is the area code for Saint Petersburg, where ПОРТ(812) is based – a neat coincidence with their founding date, 8/12. Ode to the city in the fourth video.

99 Шлюх из ста (2019)
A rather unflattering description of (99 out of 100) people to choose from: спортсменов, певцов, актёров, and лжецов – athletes, singers, actors, and liars. From 2019, also found on Подарок.
Гулял (2017)
“Wohowoho” is Esperanto in punk, and everyone will get it. As for the rest, I walked and saw a lot (гулял и столько видывал), flipped through roads (дороги перелистывал), tossed worries aside (печали прочь откидывал), loved, and lived passionately (любил и жил неистово). From Королевы и хулиганы (Queens and Hooligans, 2017), for which this is the title track.
