When it comes to Monetochka (translated as Little Coin), the conversation quickly turns to her voice. Elizaveta Gyrdymova’s (Yekaterinburg, 1988) has a singing voice that is on the higher end of the spectrum. Not everyone is fond of it, while others love it. Certainly, Monetochka is becoming an increasingly influential voice. Meet Monetochka, the popstar fast becoming the face of young Russia (Russia Beyond, 2018).
Her voice was also mentioned on Вечерний Ургант (December 2018), where host Ivan Urgant says у вас очень красивый голос, you have a very beautiful voice. Monetochka then inhales helium from a balloon to lower the pitch. Even she is surprised by the result.
Before that, she mentions that да, люди очень устали от рэпа, people are very tired of rap, and now they want something fresh and more positive.

Monetochka appeared on the same show earlier (May 2018), but without the balloon, performing with a band, Каждый раз and in 2020 Крошка. Both are from her new album Декоративно-прикладное искусство (Decorative and applied arts, 2020).
