Джизус (Dhizus, Jesus) is the artist name of Vladislav Kozhikhov Dmitrievich (1997, from Kirov). He’s not one to go unnoticed, as both name and the person behind it make sure. One of the biggest and most eccentric talents in Russian pop, and the enfant terrible figurehead of Generation Z: Dhizus is coming!
Kurt Cobain
It’s not like he keeps his name a secret. It’s the title of a track by Джизус (or Dzhizus). Also from 2019 is Девочка в классе (Girl in the Class). You were (ты была) the best girl in the class (самой лучшей девочкой в классе) and in the school (в школе). But ты менялась на моих глазах: you changed before my eyes. И ты мне не верила: and you didn’t believe me. There’s also English in the lyrics – words the real Jesus would never say (explicit lyrics).
Didn’t Understand
The beauty of perhaps another girl is sung about in Ты ничего не поняла (You Didn’t Understand, 2019). Ты красива, как зима: you’re beautiful like winter, and я тебя поцеловал: I kissed you. But she didn’t get it, hence Почему в тебя влюбился, why I fell in love with you. Not everything in the lyrics is romantic. Also shown in a lyric video.
